Short Bio

Lei Zhang is a tenured Associate Professor in the College of Computer Science and Software Engineering at Shenzhen University, Shenzhen, Guangdong, China. He received the BEng degree from the Advanced Class of Electronics and Information Engineering, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan, Hubei, China, and the MSc and PhD degrees from Simon Fraser University, Burnaby, BC, Canada (Supervisor: Prof. Jiangchuan Liu). His current research interests include multimedia systems and applications, multimedia networking, mobile computing, edge computing, and Internet of Things.
